Le Salon est un collectif informel de photographes fondé en 2014 quelque part entre Lausanne et Vevey. Développant une structure protéiforme, il s’est donné comme but de proposer des expositions et autres événements photographiques hétérogènes en réunissant des auteurs d’horizons multiples tant par ses membres, ses invités que par leurs travaux respectifs. Bien qu’elle soit polyphonique, son identité tend à représenter l’expression d’une force commune, plutôt que l’addition de démarches personnelles.

Le Salon prône la diversité du medium photographique et propose aussi souvent que possible canapés, fauteuils et repas afin de se rencontrer autour de nos propositions aussi confortablement que possible.
